    1. Mrs Taylor, Stationer & Printer, Stonehaven

    3. Does anyone have information about a Mrs. TAYLOR who ran a Stationer & Printer business in the Market Square Stonehaven? I recently acquired a small booklet, "Map of Stonehaven and District" published by Mrs. TAYLOR. However it has no date and I'm trying to get an idea of when it might have been printed (to date the best guess is mid to late 19th century). Some other clues include an advertisement in the booklet for "Longmuir's Guide to Dunnottar Castle" (price 6d) as well as an advertisement for "Photographs of Stonehaven and Muchalls in Opaline and Plush Mountings". Do any researchers have information about the publication date of Longmuir's Guide or perhaps have a photograph of Stonehaven or Muchalls in an opaline or plush mounting with a date? This looks to be Mrs. TAYLOR in 1881?
