Hello Sharon, Can I be rude enough to ask you for another favour. Is it possible you have Laurencekirk there as well. This family I am looking for is a Robert thomson born ?? but married Mary Clark in 1827 in Laurencekirk and then had two childrne. Jean thomson in 1832 in Laurencekirk and James in 1836 in Laurencekirk. James the sone married Hellen Watt in 1857 in Laurencekirk. I found Helen Watt living with her father William Watt in Fordoun in 1851. Can I ask you to look in Fordoun for them in 1841. If I can help you at all, p[lease just ask.
