I also have a Low connection. Elspet Low, daughter of John Low and Marjorie Smith, was born on 17 Nov 1728. She married Andrew Lindsay 18 Nov 1749 and they had two children, Agnes (1757) and William (1771), that I know of. William and Ann Webster had Catherine Lindsay 16 Apr 1798 in Edzell. Catherine married David Lyall 12 May 1821. David's brother, George Lyall married Isobel Middleton (at last the connection) 17 Jun 1856 in Edzell. We believe that this marriage leads to the use of Carnegie and Lyall in the middle names of this branch of the Middletons.
