Following on from the fantastic progress at 1841, I am pleased to announce that 1851 parishes in Kincardineshire are now available for transcription. A web page has been set up at http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~scotnet/FreeCEN/KCD/KCD1851.htm To volunteer all you need is access to a computer with a spreadsheet program plus either software to view jpg images or access to a microfiche or microfilm reader. Census images will be supplied either on microfilm or as jpg images on CD and should be transcribed to a given spreadsheet template.
