    3. Hi Ian, What an ambitious and worthwhile project you have undertaken------------hats off to you sir.! I come from a line of Websters and Low (Lowe) from around Edzell and Brechin but have had no contact with any known relatives in those areas since 1851. So I don't know if any of our cousins were lost in WW1. However, I just wanted to applaud your project. 3. Hello Colin, Hard work, but worth the effort none the less. Quite surprisingly I only have a handful of WEBSTER from both counties. One you may be interested in is: BRECHIN CEMETERY - Gordon WEBSTER (husband of the late Mary Ann THOW, died 1923 at Balzeordie, Menmuir, Angus), died January 1965 aged 95. Their son, Alexander WEBSTER was a pilot who died in 1919 at Cologne, Germany. There is another male on this headstone, a John Gordon WEBSTER, who died in Canada in 1980, aged 89 years. Only one LOWE for that area too: BRECHIN CEMETERY - David (died 1955, aged 82) and his wife Mary LOWE (died 1957, aged 83). Their eldest son, David died of wounds in France on 17 November 1916 and was awarded the Military Medal for bravery. Their second son, William Gray LOWE died at Fettercairn in 1901, aged 4 years It might be worth following up in the old Census returns for the area. If you find a link the headstones are yours! Best wishes, Ian
