This is to request help from my fellow Scottish listers. In the early 1980's, I purchased a small Bible, a polyglot verson, in an Edinburgh second hand store. Inside on the front fly pages were an already unintelligible phrase on the first page, "Helen London, with Jnos. Wedderspoons best wishes Glasgow, November 11, 1864" on the second page, and the song "Holy Bible, Book Divine" on the last page before the title page. There is no other information written in the Bible to indicate who these people were. I would like to return this Bible to its Scottish roots and to the correct family, but I've searched all over the internet but can't find any information on these people. I'd like some assistance with the mailing costs, but otherwise I expect no renumeration. Any suggestions as to the best way to proceed would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your help.
