Hi fellow listers, I have a query, my Great Grandfather Robert Strachan was born 1846 at Dunnottar, he had 2 brothers older who were according to later census born Bervie, would that be Glenbervie, Inverbervie or just Bervie, as I can find the 2 former, but not the last one. Hi Ruth I have a Lily STRACHAN from Bervie, which I know to be Inverbervie, which is on the coast. Glenbervie is not far away, but further inland.
