Hi listers, Some of the placenames in Kincardine puzzle me. Does anyone know the meaning of the following please? is there a site or a list where I can find out? Mains - as in Mains of Thornton Strath - Little Strath and Meikle Strath muir - Luthermuir, Blackiemuir and also Muir of Blackiemuir Mill - lots of mills on the map but what kinds of mills were they?
