Hello Listers, I thought I'd post the names of the families I'm tracing in Kincardine. The Christie line were whitefishers from Skateraw. Peter Christie married Margaret Brodie and had a son James, born in 1790 (d. 1870), and a daughter Jane b.1799 d. 1861. James Christie married Margaret Masson (b. 1797 d. 1854), and they had (amongst others) a son John Christie (b. 1832 d. 1909) who married Isabella Masson (b. 1835 d. 1908). Isabella Masson's parents were William Masson (b. 1799) and Isabella Craig (b. 1800). John and Isabella Christie had a son James (amongst others) b. 1860 who married Elizabeth Wood (b. 1862). Elizabeth's parents were James Wood (b. 1829) and Margaret Robertson (b. 1826). Many of the Christie and Masson's were buried in the Cowie Graveyard, however the younger generation starting with James (b 1860) moved to Stonehaven.
