    3. Hi everyone, Just a short note to tell you I have changed internet provider, hence new e-mail address. Having been inquiring previously re: William FINCHER (born England), married in Nigg, Kincardine Scotland to Barbara GARDEN, 8th April 1826, immigrated to Australia 1849. Also Isabella WATT married Alexander WATT 20th June, 1851, Old Machar, Aberdeen. I can only find one son on the I.G.I. John WATT christened 5th February, 1854, Old Machar, Aberdeen. At the moment I am ploughing though the 1851 census (on the microfilm reader that obviously comes from the same period!) trying to find Isabella FINCHER. It is a slow process and haven't come across her as yet. However, as happens, other little things have taken my interest. Can anyone tell me what a women who is obviously well off, either a widow or a spinster (I have found three, all 40 years or over), has servants and has her occupation listed as what I originally wrote as "Assistant", but realised there were too many letters and also it didn't really make much sense. The film was a little difficult to read, but this was quite clear I just couldn't make out the word. It starts with A and ends with T. I imagine it is to do with some inherited wealth, but I'm guessing. Hoping someone on the list can help. Have been jotting down FRASERS, ALLANS, FORBES AND GARDENS, but haven't got too far yet. Regards, Rhonda Thompson, Sydney, Australia
