I downloaded the latest update of the filter *.vdx and the updated engine V4.5. WARNING: on my system, the engine V 4.5 will completely block out Netscape 4.7, in spite of settings to prevent this. This took three days of meticulously handling nearly 40K files to finally track the bug down which prevented all access to my browser but allowed mail through only sometimes. There is a javascript error and Netscape's java scripting functionality will be blocked, cold. PC-cillin blocks evil Active X and malicious Java files from entering your system. I have notified PC-cillin, but have heard nothing back yet. When the bug was found, I deleted the V 4.5 engine and accompanying filter and reinstalled my old copy V 4.3. All works perfectly as before. To correct: delete the entire PC-cillin program and reinstall from scratch.
