Hello everyone :) The information below is from the 1881 census. On the LDS site John Mcabe born 12 Jan 1850 to "Isobella" Dallas & Peter McKelbie. In the 1851, 1861, and 1871 census John is living with my "Isabella" Dallas. I am wondering if Isobella & Isabella are the same person. My Isabella also had illegitimate triplets in 30 Nov. 1839, she never married, I found her in the 1881 census age 71 still unmarried. I have been told that my Isabella was to old to have given birth to John, and had probably taken John in, and that he was an illegitmate child of a cousin of Isabella's. She would have only been 40 years old, at the time of John's birth.
