Hello List If anyone is viewing the 1851 census for any area between Fordoun and Montrose, could I ask a favour and keep your eyes open for the following family: George SCOTT aged c.41 born St Cyrus, KCD Isabella SCOTT aged c.42 born Dun, Angus Isabella - daug. aged c.17 born St Cyrus Alexander - son aged c.15 born Fordoun Jean - daug. aged c.14 born fordoun James - son aged c.12 born fordoun Elizabeth - daug. aged c.11 born Fordoun William - son aged c.9 born Fordoun Mary - daug. aged c.7 born Fordoun Margaret - daug. aged c.3 born Fordoun in 1841 they were at the Mill of Kincardine (George is a Meal Miller by occupation). By 1851 they were not in the parish of Fordoun. By Dec 1854 part (if not all) the family were in Hillside, Montrose. But where were they in 1851????? I would love to find this family in 1851. I wish to establish all children had survived infancy in order to continue my search for siblings of my gggrandmother and complete that next piece of the puzzle. If anyone does find them - who else was with them? Here is hoping. Best Regards and Many Thanks Cris NZ
