Dear Listers, Would like to contact descendents of the following, John CLARK married to Elisabeth COUTTS. >From 1841 census Cookshill, Kildrummy , John not on the 1841 census at this address,only Elizabeth COUTTS head ,of independent means, Elisabeth CLARK daughter and Peter CLARK grandson, born about 1839-40, not able to find this family on IGI, though an earlier reel prior to 1840 for Kildrummy christenings, marriages and burials have CLARKS at Cookshill. In 1865, when Peter CLARK and his wife Elizabeth BELL have their eldest child, also Peter, Peter is given as ploughman of Craigmyle, Kincardine-Oneill. Peter CLARK and Elizabeth BELL migrated to Australia between June 1865 and Sept. 1866, not able to find shipping details. Eldest Australian born son birth certificate gives Peters' birthplace as Cookshill, Kildrummy. Elizabeth COUTTS is given on the 1865 Marriage certificate of Peter and Elizabeth BELL as being deceased. Not able to find any references to John CLARK. Any help gratefully accepted, Thanks,Leanne.
