Can anyone tell me where the birth records for 1852/1853 might be and if there may be a source of information for marriages and births born "at sea" for Scotland residence who worked in West Indies. My Great-grandfather William Anderson MLLAR may have been born during a to or from voyage his parents, Scottish surgeon, William MILLAR and his wife Mary L. (STRUTHERS) Millar might have made coming or going between these two countries. My Grand-father William Anderson MILLAR married Fanny Venables LEA in Monikie, Newbrigging Parrish in 1888 and he died at sea in 1897 aboard the S.S. A.J. Balfour in an accident..
