Dear Al I do not know where you live, from 1855 to 1875 every birth and marriage for Scotland has been extracted from the civil registration, and appear on the IGI, so you can send to SLC for a copy of the certificate or go to your nearest LDS FHC and order in the microfilm and copy it yourself.
