    3. Hi Bob, Thanks for copying out the section on Fordoun from your book. I shall find out about this book as it is claerly very useful. It sounds as though Fordoun was a large rural area with Auchenblae village as its social heart. Thanks very much for finding the details of my ancestors' headstone. It does appear to be them as the dates fit and James did have a younger sister called Agnes. I will contact Colin Milne as you have suggested. This is interesting. As far as I have researched my Jollys came from Arebuthnott but it is possible that these Jollys are siblings. Most Jollys seem to have lived in Forfar, rather than Kincardineshire so perhaps the Kin bunch were all connected in some way. I shall make a note and contact you further if I find a connection. I have a James JOLLY c 28 Dec 1797 Fordoun son of John JOLLY and Jean BYARS who married Anne DUNBAR on 20 July 1823 in my tree, so we may be distantly connected. Best wishes, Emma Jolly. --------------------------------- To help you stay safe and secure online, we've developed the all new Yahoo! Security Centre.
