Yes .... I put my hand up for researching the name of Emslie in Strachan .... Alexander Emslie (1807 - 1899) married to Helen Ferries. Parents William Emslie and Jane(Jean) Ferries. Alexander had 4 children. James 1853, Margaret 1855, Alexander 1857 and Francis 1859. There is also a Peter Emslie married to an Elspet Gove buried right next to Alexander - to date I haven't been able to make a connection .... can you? she says ever so hopefully ....
