Robert WATT was born in Udney, Aberdeen 10 December 1831, according to the family bible. He married Margaret RAE 13 December 1851 in Nigg, Kincardine. Their first son, Robert, was born 20 November 1852 and christened 6 February 1853 in St. Nicholas, Aberdeen, according to church records. Sometime between 1853 and 1859 they emigrated to near Toronto, Ontario, Canada. They had twins, Alexander and William born in 1860 in Toronto. Margaret died sometime after that, as he married Mary ELLSTON in 1865 and had 3 more children before he died in 1876 in Toronto.
