Hi All, I am researching my family of Ker/Kerr from Glenbervie,Kincardine, and hope that someone may have some connections. John Ker/Kerr married Barbara Edward in Glenbervie in 1794. He died before 1851, possibly in Aberdeenshire. Barbara died in 1851 in New Deer.(I think). They had a son Robert,John and also a daughter Christiana, but quite a few more. John died in 1855 in Old Maud ,New Deer, Christiana also died there. Robert possibly died in England, unknown, but possibly in Herefordshire or Lancashire around 1852. I 'm hoping that someone out there has some connections to this family, and would like to hear from them Thanking you, Margaret Porter mporter@tcsn.net
Margaret, At one time I thought I had a relative by the name of Mary Ken of that area - didn't work out. But in the searches I did, I found her registered as KER, KEN and KEAN. OPRs I've seen with that name, it's almost impossible to tell if the spelling should be Ker or Ken so I'd like to suggest you search for the different spellings. Good Luck and hope you find what you're looking for.
