I tend to agree with you, but the List is very quiet. I also notice that most posters dont live in Britain and every now and again we see a discussion about them, and their family life where they settled that has nothing to do with Mull, Scotland and of no interest to those of us who live in Britain, so it is a bit of give and take now and again. I'm sorry I cannot agree with Janet. I live in Britain (Tobermory, Isle of Mull for complete location) and find the stories about those who finished up in all corners of the world very interesting. I have just finished reading a book called 'Pictou : It's History and People' which goes into great detail about those who left Mull (and other places like Tiree), settled on Pictou Island and about the conditions they found there. OK I might be the exception to the rule but I don't think so. Next month I'm going to New Zealand and then Australia to see a number of the places which until now are just places on a map where settlers from Mull established themselves. A number of places in both countries are names after places on Mull. So please keep the settler stories coming.
