I didn't subscribe to this website to get this type of promotional rubbish. Please just keep to the point. Hi Jennie and all list members, It is unfortunate that a list member has had their address book compromised which has resulted in 'promotional rubbish' being sent to list members. The list is certainly not intended that the list is used this way but it is difficult to stop once started. All we can do is to each try and ensure that the anti-virus installed is up to date. On this point it may be worth pointing out that you anti-virus needs to receive daily updates. Having taught computer skills at U3A (University of the Third Age) it surprised me how many attendees thought that all they had to do was install their anti-virus software and that was them protected forever. No. Anti-virus needs daily updates in order to keep up with the many new viruses generated each day. As an aside, you should also ensure that a 'Firewall' is installed and active. In order to ensure that your computer is secure, Windows 7 users should open their 'Control Panel' from the start menu and select 'Review your computer's status'. On the next displayed screen select 'Security'. All the displayed items should be shown as 'On' Ian On 27 January 2012 13:08, JENNIE SUDWORTH <[email protected]> wrote: > I didn't subscribe to this website to get this type of promotional rubbish. > Please just keep to the point. > > Jennie Sudworth > > On Thu, Jan 26, 2012 at 2:37 AM, KENNETH MAC CALLUM <[email protected] > >wrote: > > > > > Put your affairs in order! > > http://tvodra.hostit.pl/bberg.php?ycufortuneid=50 > > > > Thu, 26 Jan 2012 3:37:17 > > _________________________________ > > "So Caleb walked slowly along, carefully avoiding all the high banks, but > > sometimes going down to the water, where the shore was sloping and safe." > > (c) MYLES wnha8ea > > > > ------------------------------- > > To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to > > [email protected] with the word 'unsubscribe' without > > the quotes in the subject and the body of the message > > > > ------------------------------- > To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to > [email protected] with the word 'unsubscribe' without > the quotes in the subject and the body of the message >
