    3. Hi Linda,, Have tried to locate Aoine without luck. It appears in the census between Pennycross and Glenlidle but this can only be taken as a rough guide as to walking order. Most of those living in Aoine in 1851 are shown in the 1851 as Kinloch Sgridan. This might indicate Aoine could be close to the shore between Pennycross and Pennyghael. Best I can do. 3. Hi Linda Following Ian's posting. There is only one problem with looking for a place named Aoine.  There are many places whose name includes Aoine (means Friday or a fast as in Aoine An Chéasta - Good Friday) in Mull and several in Kilfinichan and Kilvickeon Parish alone where it occurs as Aoineadh viz Aoineadh Beag - at Carsaig Aoineadh MorAoineadh Mor Aoineadh Ros-dail Aoineadh Thapuill Aoineadh a' Mhaide Ghil Aoineadh nan Gamhna Maol an Aonaich - adjacent to Glen Leidle at Pennyghael Is it possible that someone resided/stayed at one of these ? In Morvern it occurs as An t-Aoineadh Mor which is Anglisised as Inniemore. Regards Les
