Hi All, I have today (15th September) updated both the Surname and Census databases. The Surname database now includes all readable OPR records (there are few that are unreadable). The Census database includes a full listing for 1911 (the latest publicly available census in the UK). The census was conducted on the 2nd April 1911 and lists some 4,173 individuals. Interestingly I remember some of those listed from my visits in the late 50's early 60's. So far I have not linked many individuals between the 1911 records and earlier census records. This will be an ongoing task.I will update the internet database later when I have linked a good few more individuals. Whilst posting this message I would like to address the question of Cookies (not the edible kind but small pieces of code placed on your computer usually to aid your use of the software but can be used to store information on your computer usage) as I have been asked by several users of the MullGenealogy website whether I use them or not. Please be assured that MullGenealogy does not use Cookies and so there are no nagging messages about their use required. In raising this point I would remind any of you with your own website (especially those using commercial packages like 'The Next Generation of Genealogy') there is is law (UK and EEC) to display a message informing users that Cookies are in use. Wouldn't like any of you falling foul of the law. There is plenty to be found on the internet regarding this legislation and the need to display a message when certain types of information is being stored so will leave it for you to investigate further. Again many thanks to all for supporting the website and supplying information so freely. Don't forget to send any additional information that you have so that it can build to make an even bigger picture. Best regards and good hunting, Ian webmaster MullGenealogy.co.uk

Thanks Ian I was about to stop the family research for today but I guess I may just take a quick look - then I guess I may get delayed and dinner will have to wait :) Tricia -----Original Message----- Hi All, I have today (15th September) updated both the Surname and Census databases.
