    3. Michael that is my john and |Ann or could be Catherine. I have prob ably over 150 pages of parish registers for K & K\ I have never got beyond this as there are so many John Mc\Neils some say they came from the \Kintyre, but why would they go north to the top of Mull, Caliach unless they were coming maybe from the north down? 3. Jackie I answer the same to anyone with ancestral questions : take hearsay with a pinch of salt. I'll stick my neck out and say that the vast majority of known ancestors we have (born/bap Mull), have their roots on Mull, probably for many generations. A MacPhail family in Glenforsa had ancestors going back 800 years. Because most of us cannot get back beyond the information in the 1779 Estates, I would suggest accepting that. Too many people 'invent' ancestors. >From what I've seen of your 'family' (not convinced it is), I couldn't possibly add to what I have on site without something more concrete. I'm always happy to check out family lines (for anyone), but I have to be emailed what you have Michael www.mullfamilies.co.uk ----- Original Message ----- From: "JACQUELINEARCHIBALD" <yedida@eastlink.ca> To: <sct-isleofmull@rootsweb.com> Sent: Monday, September 09, 2013 5:50 PM Subject: Re: [SCT-ISLEOFMULL] Kinlochspelvie > Michael that is my john and |Ann or could be Catherine.
