Came across this while browsing NZ cemetery records Taruheru Cemetery, Gisborne District Council In loving memory of Mother, Ann McCormick, died 2nd Jan 1922, also our brother Alex McCormick, died 8th Jan 1920, late of Mull Scotland. The burial record states Alex's age as 48 Malcolm ME and PM McCormick

My best guess would be that Ann is Ann McDonald (bapt 18 Feb 1833 to Donald McDonald/Margaret McDonald and married 27 Jan 1859 to her 3rd cousin Donald McCormick. Hi Malcolm and Pam Thank you for the Mull strays posting. I like Linda M Towne at manateemum@gmail.com agree on who the family was on Mull. Might I ask for a tiny favour from you. If the NZ cemetery records are on-line or are easlily accessable to you. Ann's mother Margaret McDonald b abt 1801 who's husband was Donald may also be in the NZ cemetery records as well. She's in 1851 at Bra Chreich in son Alexanders h/h so her husband Donald probably died before the 1851 census.
