Hi Ian, I somehow got mixed up with my ancestors and it turns out you can cross *Plymouth* off your list as a departure place. My McInnes family actually left _*Gravesend*_ on the 14th September 1848 aboard the Maitland to sail to Australia. I am so sorry for the confusion. Do you still think they would have travelled from Kintra by water to get there? Kindest regards Joy
