Hi Annie I know Rose cottage in Salen. My Grandmother and Grandfather lived in "Glenstrae" which is about 50 yards from Rose Cottage I visited them regularly in the 50's and 60's I have a postcard which shows the edge of the cottage and you can see all of Burnside which is the cottage next door. I stillgo to Mullregularly, indeed i am just back from Mull yesterday. If you want to e-mail me i can hopefully give you more detail. Hi Annie, Maybe no connection, but my Dad went to school at Tobermory during WW2 & I have heard him speak of his school headmaster "old Lowe" on many occasions. I wonder if Mr. Lowe was any relative of your's? Mary in Canada >The surname was Lowe.
