    3. To the best of my knowledge B. D & M records for Ontario straight from archives are free on Ancestry.ca of which I was a member. They are not copies by anybody they are hooked right in to Archives and you can print them off on your computer. Sue Podolinsky

    3. Hi Sue is right. The Ontario BMD's are online on Ancestry. Once in a while they will have a free week or a few days, but other than that you have to buy a subscription. I decided to give myself a Christmas present and took the year. The current price is 299.00 American. I have been collecting McKinnon BMD's in Ontario for years now, but that involves going to the LDS in Brampton. This way I can work in my own time: which tends to be closer to midnight than mid afternoon. The main problem is the interpretation of names..although it's not nearly as bad as the LDS version of the 1881 Canadian census. I was especially interested in the Lamonts as there are a number of McKinnon/Lamont connections. I will try and pull off any Mull related items I see over the next few months. 3. Hi Sue and others - I'm glad to learn more about obtaining Ontario records; is Ancestry.ca a branch of Ancestry.com? Thanks - karen ----- Original Message ----- From: "sue podolinsky" <skysue@cogeco.ca> To: <Undisclosed-Recipient:;> Sent: Monday, February 12, 2007 5:18 PM Subject: [SCT-ISLEOFMULL] records on line > To the best of my knowledge B.
