Hello everyone, I'm looking for any Mcdonalds in Kilninian and Kilmore and Ulva . My g.grandfather John Macdonald was born in Govan in 1867. His father was Niel b.Cragaig Mull 1826. Information on his marraige certificate to Julian McDonald in 1858 give his parents as John McDonald and Chirsty McInnes or McDonald. I have found a John and Chirsty living in Ferinardary with Margaret (Niel's sister?) and I wonder if they are my McDonalds. I can't find Niel in any census records before 1861 when he was in Glasgow. Any help would be appreciated.
