My Grand Grand Grand mother was born Margaret McFayden an we now that she was birth 15/2 1852 i Scotland She was merried to Emmanuel Thomas Stott and her children was christen mcFayden but now the name have end there are what I now no more Mc Fayden in Denmark they are marreid 24/4-1847 in Nakskov Denmark I mean that she came from Isle of Mull but I can´t find her. Can you help me f.eks cant give me a way i can seach I Have find some site with som Mc Fayden who are going to Australia Sorry my english I think this is the first individual that I know off who left Mull for Denmark but guess that others must have left at the time of the Vikings. Hello Ian, When the Duke of Argyll tried to establish a fishing industry on Mull at Kentra he brought fishermen in from Uist and Shetland to assist the locals, so perhaps one of the Shetland men was actually from Denmark. Were you able to check the dates with the enquirer, as they are she was married before she was born - or is it to early in the morning for me to think straight.
