I am still trying to make McMillan contacts and formulate a family beyond that of my direct relatives - Atchibald McMillan and Flora McIntyre from Oskamull. Is anyone researching the McPhail family in Rhuddle / Reudle (spelled differently in the 1861 and 1871 census). A daughter named Margaret married Archibald McMillan - residing in Burg in the 1891 and 1901 census. In the 1871 and 81 Censuses - Margaret McMillan is living with her father Archibald McPhail. The name Archibald McMillan and a son John McMillan suggests to me that this McMillan family may be related to my family - as the naming pattern has familiar names - but then, so do many!~ I live in hope that one day - my web of disconnected information and the dots will join up.
