My sketchy notes on Mary say she was born/christened 1815, the youngest of 7 children, she married Donald LAMONT and they went to Ontario. Mary's parents were Duncan Carmichael (c. Hi Moira This Lamont family appears in the 1851 census in Pickering Twp, Ontario County Donald LAMONT 47 b SCT Presbyterian inn keeper Mary LAMONT age 37 b SCT PR Duncan 16 SCT PR Ann 12 SCT PR Daniel M 6 SCT PR Duncan son of Donald LAMONT and Mary CARMICHAEL married Margaret HENDERSON d/o John HENDERSON and Jane BUCKHAM on Nov 27 1862 in Peel County. Duncan was resident of Mulmur Twp in Simcoe Co and Margaret was resident of Chinguacousy Twp In Peel Co. A quick search gave me the following children for them: Margaret Mar 31 1870 Euphemia Auf 1872 Annie Jul 15 1877 Duncan was shown as a farmer in Mulmur Twp which at that time was in Simcoe Co but later became part of Dufferin Co. Daniel M son of Donald and Mary married an Isabella SHEDDON Jan 19 1876 and was a resident of Huron Twp in Grey Co at that time.
