Hi listers My clever cousin Jean Kinnaird found a Bell connection on World Connect under Neil Bell bn Mull 1829 married Sarah Campbell bn1842 daughter of Hectpor Francis Campbell and Catherine Fletcher.This was in the family tree compiled by a Mark Alan Mclean .We are keen to learn more from him re the Mclean and Curry families who came also from Mull who was in his tree but his email is no longer valid under mark60480@comcast.net .Any help tracking him would be appreciated -also it would be a help to know what country the invalid email it is in. regards gerry

Cheerio Sue (McCuaig) Visser Mrs. Neil Bell Laid to Rest Handwritten date; 1920 On Sunday - Saugeen Twp. lost one of its old and respected residents in the person of Mrs. Neil Bell, who passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Alex McDermid, at the advanced age of 73 years. Being a patient sufferer for the past five years with rheumatism the malady finally reached the heart, snapping the thread of life and relieving The tortured body of its sufferings. Born in Mull, Scotland, she came with her parents, the late Mr. And Mrs. Hector CAMPBELL and settled in Lennox, later in Greenock Twp. Moving to Bruce Twp. she met and married Mr. Neil Bell in 1866, taking up residence on Lot 18, Con. 4, Saugeen, where they successfully farmed until the death of her husband 19 years ago, her son-in-law, Mr. Alex McDermid, taking over the farm a few years later. She made her home with him until the end. She leaves a family of two to mourn a loving and kind mother. Laura, Mrs. Alex McDermid on the old homestead and Duncan of the Soo, Michigan, who arrived home on Monday night to attend the funeral, which took place to the Port Elgin cemetery on Tuesday at 2:30 o'clock.
