Hi Ian and list: Arrived back home last night and sure hated to leave such beautiful country - both Scotland and Ireland but was good to be home again. The trip was absolutely wonderful. Of course Ian with his wonderful wit and kindness made the Mull trip extra special. I didn't find much in Edinburgh or Glasgow's Mitchell Library but haven't gone through all my notes yet. Will let Ian know for new postings as I did get a couple marriages. While just before leaving Ireland I heard that a box of Mcleans of Coll had been turned over to the National Archives of Scotland. I believe they were found in South Africa. Maybe something new will turn up there. The trip in Dublin was something else, the final rugby game between Kerry and Cork was on and the crowds were massive. Sure glad I left the car in Edinburgh and flew to Dublin. If I can drive on the left side of the road, through the mountains, and on one track roads, I am sure anyone who is a little nervous of doing so will do fine once you get out there.
