    3. Hi Jacqueline, Pleased to hear that you are back home safely after all your expedition round Scotland and Ireland. Like you I'm having withdrawal symptoms. I'm booked again for next September but have a feeling that I'm not going to be able to last out that long before another visit. Just looking for an excuse. Good to hear that you also had some luck with your researches. Look forward to receiving details. Did you go to the rugby match? I'm sure you would have enjoyed it if you could have got a ticket. >> If I can drive on the left side of the road, through the mountains, and on one track roads, I am sure anyone who is a little nervous of doing so will do fine once you get out there. Please note all those of you thinking of making a trip. I can tell you that its nothing like driving a right hand car in a left hand country. On a personal note I'm pleased to have been able to have been able to take you round the island and across to Iona. You were great company and I enjoyed he day. Thanks for not commenting on my driving as I would like to take many more list members round the island yet. Have had brakes replaced you will be pleased to know :-). Perhaps you can also convince those who might be thinking of visiting that it really does take a day to get round the island. Hope to hear that you have booked a return visit soon. Next time you can drive me round the island and you can show me how two cars can pass at speed in passing places. Yes it can be done and you have seen it done. Here's to the next time. Ian Ps Thanks for your card. Much appreciated. PPs I take booking for trips between September 7 and September 18 2008. First come, first served. Maybe something new will turn up there. > The trip in Dublin was something else, the final rugby game between Kerry and Cork was on and the crowds were massive. Sure glad I left the car in Edinburgh and flew to Dublin. > If I can drive on the left side of the road, through the mountains, and on one track roads, I am sure anyone who is a little nervous of doing so will do fine once you get out there. > Jacqueline in Nova Scotia > > ------------------------------- > To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to SCT-ISLEOFMULL-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message > > > >
