    3. Hi Bob, Moria and others.. Just for the sake of getting out the information I have here. Alexander McKechnie (sp) and Margaret McPhail b May 9 1825 in Rothill TRS m's Aug 19 1856 at Laggan have the following children: John Feb 1 1859 Mary Sarah Sep 6 1860 Margaret Aug 5 1862 Catherine May 27 1865 Neilna May 28 1868 Therefore when Mary had Neilna she would have been 43 So If they married in 1856 theirs probably another child before John which I haven't came accross yet :-) catch ya later Ida Bob Murray wrote: >I have come late on this discussion as I have been away. 3. Hi Ida, Good to hear from you. You are spot on with your dates for the children of Alexander Mckechnie and Margaret McPhail. I have all that information now and quite a bit of background in a paper from Moira. If you find anything more about Neilina we would be most interested. Our mystery is that she is listed as a cousin of Alexander Fletcher in the 1891 census at Lochdonhead. All the best, Bob
