Hello Les I highly recommend the site. I have been a member for over a year and the help within the site is excellent. I have had a few walls broken down from lots of different members that have access to information that I was unable to get. Most of the members are researchers and also help with various ideas, situations etc. It was a free site and to say the least it still is on certain searches. All the members recommended to the owner that we should pay a fee for the year, it is a small fee and it has a 3 tier situation, depending on what information is required. Most of the researchers actually travel out of there way to Archives in Scotland that I am unable to get to. I highly recommend the site. There is always someone there to help you. There is also an area where people put there certificates on the board and you never know you may come across a wee surprise or too that fits into your tree. I to date have found 2 cousins from been a member. You can even list your brick walls and someone is bound to help you. Firtst and foremost just introduce yourself first and see where it takes you.
