I don't think the only people supporting the Stuarts were from the Islands, many did from all parts of the Highlands. Too bad not enough to win against the Butcher Cumberland. James (Seamus) is one of the most prominent names in our genealogies along with Francis. hi Jacqueline I have tried to find the name Francis on Mull because my gg grandfather Hector Francis Campbell bn 1806 also named my g grandfather Donald Francis. We also have a Archibald Campbell. They went to ontario in 1850 first to Grey C. and then to Bruce.I am interested in the name Francis because I am having touble finding any relatives for him on Mull. His father was Ronald and his mother was Marrion Mclean.Fortunately I am finding a lot of cousins in Canada and the US from that family. kind regards Gerry ----- Original Message ----- From: "Jacqueline Archibald" <h.j.arch@ns.sympatico.ca> To: <1517mull@ns.sympatico.ca>; <sct-isleofmull@rootsweb.com> Sent: Saturday, April 21, 2007 10:23 AM Subject: Re: [SCT-ISLEOFMULL] James >I don't think the only people supporting the Stuarts were from the Islands, > many did from all parts of the Highlands.
