Hi Ian, Thank you for the recent update - you do a great job! I have a querie for you. On the Mull site (and Scotlands People) there is an entry for Georgina ROSS born 4/3/1841, daughter of William Ross and Rebecca McLean m. 1/7/1841. It says that the info comes from the 1841 census although I can't find them there. However, Georgina VASS, aged three months is on the 1841 census in a McLean household. She is also shown on the Mull site as the daughter of William and Jane Vass. I have a suggestion. Could ROSS have been mistaken for VASS? Scotlands People do this a lot as they look very similar in the old writing. I have gone into the Vass family at great length and have never found a Georgina anywhere. I think she is the Georgina ROSS previously mentioned. What do you think? Here are a few for next time:- .
