Ian and list: How come the name of the place is not on the list with the OPRs, only the Parish of Kilninian, etc.? I am searching for Hugh McNeil who married Christine Campbell in 1777 in Lagg to see if he might be a brother to John McNeil born 1768 in Druingigha although I doubt it, but they might be cousins. Hugh didn't name any sons John or Neil, instead his sons were Roderick, Donald, Alexander and Archibald and of course his birth is too early for the OPRs. Thanks all Jacqueline

To a degree I'm dependant upon those supplying information on the detail that appears on the website. It appears that Hugh McNeil and Christine Campbells family were entered into the database prior to my transcribing the OPR records. When I came to enter my transcribed data, I did not recheck the complete detail of each entry. I have now rechecked the family and can report that all the children are recorded as being from Lagg with the exception of Jean (Bailigown) and Margaret (Sunipol). Cannot find anything that links Hugh and John. Ian
