Hi All, I have double checked the 1861 census microfilm for Flora Forres which is not 100% clear but does not finish with a 't' making the entry 'Forrest' However, if one checks the 1871 census there is an entry for a 'Flora Forrest' with matching age with father William. It would therefore look highly likely that the 1861 entry should have read 'Forrest' and not 'Forres'. Hope this helps. Ian > William and his family are in Iona in 1871 and Flora is with them :-) > .
