It can also happen that the widow goes to live with the one of her children (which could be some distance from where her husband was buried) and is buried there. Equally, it could be that the widow is buried in the same plot but this is not recorded on the headstone as finances at the time would not allow the additional inscription. Like Jill, I know of examples where a wife/widow is buried with her parents.
