Dear Listers I am continuing to search for the McINTYRE family in/from Mull, Scotland. My great great great grandmother was Flora McINTYRE (1781-1870) and she married Archibald McMILLAN - they lived in Oskamull, Isle of Mull Scoltand. They are present in the 1841 and 1851 census records for Oskamull. Then the family came to Portland Victoria Australia in the ship 'New Zelander' in 1853. On Flora McMILLAN's (nee McINTYRE) death certificate in Victoria is states that her paretns were Angus McINTYRE and Christine McCORMACK. As teh informant for her husband cited his parents are being Archibald McMILLAN and Christine MCCORMACK, I am not convinced that this name is the correct name of her mother. My father was named Neil McIntyre McMILLAN and so I have wondered who 'Neil McIntyre' was - after whom my father was named. Regards Libby McMillan libbymcm@tpg.com.au
