    3. Hello Ian, Yes, I had a lovely time in Samoa, although it was VERY hot. I am not all that good in the heat and this heat was steaming. In fact you could see the steam coming up off the road after rain - really seriously HOT. We went to the beach and ate out most evenings so I had a very relaxed time. The people there are really lovely and I managed to meet quite a few. I would like to go back but certainly not in the wet season again. Maybe in May or June. (Not for a year or two though) I will be broke after my next holiday. 7,000 records, you have been busy. I will have to check to see that I have all you have put in. I have a few pages from Scotlandspeople since the OPRs have become available but some of them are pretty hard to read. I'm sure you will enjoy your stay on Mull, do you know many people going to the McLean Gathering? Are you still thinking of moving to Mull or have you decided to stay put in London. I am sure that it is perfectly alright for you to be as emotional as you need to be whilst on Mull it holds some very special memories for you. Don't forget to smell the flowers on the way - Well look at a different scene if nothing else. Have you been to Stirling Castle yet? There are so many wonderful things to look at on your way up to Scotland. (I seem to have said all this before) I have started to plan my holiday, but as I won't be arriving in UK until at least mid October (So far) I am having to look at it from a different perspective then 'Spring' I really want to see the Autumn leaves, so no good arriving in Summer. I am hoping to be in UK somewhere until at least Christmas and a lot later if I can manage it, so I will call and see you at some stage. But it is all in my head at the moment so don't actually know any dates. I will be retiring in Mid July, although I turn 60 in May, I have to do that or lose a lot on my Leave money to tax. I am taking advantage of this and getting rid of a lot of furniture and clutter I have had in my life for a very long time. I though if I managed to sell or give away most of my furniture, I wouldn't have to find a unit based on my current collection. I am not attached to any of it so may as well start over without the expense of having it shipped to Melbourne. I will be keeping my books and bits and pieces though.
