There are 2 Charles McArthurs in the Priceville area in 1881 - one in Glenelg (Charles & Mary Jane & family) and the one in Artemesia you noted (Charles & Catharine & family). I searched for "M.H. McArthur" on ancestry.ca and his late birth registration is attached - which confirms that it is the Artemesia Charles you are searching. It also confirms that the family was in Proton. Again re ancestry.ca Children of Charles McArthur & Catharine Black Mary Nevada McArthur b 8 Oct 1886 - Apparently there were 5 live births but I couldn't find the others - it appears they didn't reg their kids. Charles Melville Hudson McArthur b 25 Aug 1891 - I searched Split Rail Country and Priceville and its roots/routes with no success. 3. With the current interest in McArthurs, I thought I'd ask again for any clues to my missing Malcolm MacArthur, born in Ardalish Mull (maybe 1825 to Arthur & Isabella McArthur). Em. to Ontario abt 1853, likely to Bruce County. I thank Ida, Sandra and others for previous attempts. Just another probe. - Karen ----- Original Message ----- From: "Merle & Ida King" <m_iking@telusplanet.net> To: "SCT-ISLEOFMULL" <SCT-ISLEOFMULL@rootsweb.com> Sent: Friday, March 16, 2007 11:30 AM Subject: [SCT-ISLEOFMULL] (Sct-isleofmull) Deaths in Ont more pieces for thepuzzle > Hi All > > As the list is quiet at the moment.
