Hi all, I know that there has been some messages regarding Rose Cottage at Salen recently, so I thought I would let you know about a book I bought last month. Its called 'Mull and Iona Photographs by John MacPherson' ISBN 1 84158 443 6. It contains lovely photos of the area & locals, and there is a colour photo of a Rose Cottage, Salen with the owner Alastair 'Addy' MacQuarie tending the garden at the front.
