From Vol. V - January - June 1836, p. 209 - Death's - Nov. 14 - At Dublin, the Rev. Samuel John Maclean, Fellow of Trinity College. He was a native of Belfast, and educated at the Institution in that town. From then he removed to the Dublin University and obtained several of its highest honours in his undergraduate course. He united to study of polite literature to the severer pursuits of science, and his lectures were remarkable for copious and rich illustrations. His acuteness as a metaphysician pointed him out as a fit examiner in the new moderatorship course, Logics and Ethics; and his public list of questions prove that the choice was a good one. 2. From Vol. XCI, part II, July - Dec. 1821, p. 573 - Death's - Nov. 27 - At Dover (where she arrived from Canada, on her way to France, for the beneift of her health), aged 19, Euphemia, wife of George Maclean, Deputy Assist. Commissary General. 3. From Vol. III, January - June 1867, p. 392 - Death's - Dec. 12 - At the Royal Observatory, Cape of Good Hope, aged 37, Ellen, daughter of Sir Thomas Maclean, Knt. Dec. 16 - At Westbrook, Queensland, by an accidental fall from his horse, aged 46, John Donald Maclean, esq., Colonial Treasurer. 4. Vol. XIL, January - June 1862, p. 218 - Birth's - Jan. 5 - At Brighton, the wife of Capt. J. N. Maclean, 7th Madras Light Cavalry, a daughter. 5. Vol. XIII, January - June 1840, p. 646 - Marriage's - April 23 - At Greenwich, the Rev. Hippesley {sic} Maclean, of Covantry, to Charlotte, daughter of Richard Smith, Esq. 6. Vol. LXXXIX, Part II, July - Dec. 1819, p. 88 - Death's - Oct. 20, 1818 - At Baduia, in Ceylon, of the jungle fever of that island, Captain Archibald Maclean, of HM's 86th Light Infantry. Thanks for any help you can provide.
