Hi Anne I have noticed a Marion/Sarah/Sally McLachlan married to John McPhail. I haven't found a marriage for the couple but it looks promising for your information. If you have more clues great. 1841 Ulvatt KLF, 1851 Kinloch KLF, 1861 & 1871 Leitir SLN Only children in listed in the IGI are Hugh McPhail Sep 25 1856 SLN by TBR C115481, 0028 as Ewen & Angus McPhail Jul 19 1858 SLN by TBR C115481, 0058 But if you track them through the census other children you'll find are John abt 1842, Catherine abt 1844, Mary abt 1846, Charles abt 1848 and Lachlan abt 1852 Would you happen to know who Charles's wife was ?
