On board the Belmont, which sailed from Grennock to the Port of New York, arriving August 30, 1828, there are the following members of a McIntyre family: Mary, aged 30 Neal, aged 40 George, aged 15 At first, I thought that the Mary and Neal might perhaps be my missing Mary McCallum and Nicol McIntyre, but the age for Mary specifically, is quite off. I'm wondering then if perhaps Mary and Neal are a couple, and George is their son. Since they travelled on the same ship with my McIntyre family, I'm interested in this piece of the puzzle.
